Having received a number of requests from people wanting a chance to try this fun sport for themselves, we have scheduled a pair of “Learn to Curl” sessions for February. The sessions will be from 10:00 pm to midnight on Friday, February 13 and Friday, February 20. There will be a fee of $15/person, which covers the cost of renting the ice. Dress in warm, comfortable clothing, including a jacket or sweater, and rubber-soled shoes (sneakers work fine). Bring a smile (these are enjoyable evenings!) and any questions you may have about curling — we’ll provide all the necessary equipment and instruction.

November 2nd, 2008
We kicked off our 2008–2009 season with an open house on November 2 (later than usual due to Hurricane Ike damage to the facility), and begin league curling two weeks after that, on November 16. Our league teams and season schedule are now on the Schedule page. All games this year will be 9:00–11:00 am on Sunday mornings, a half-hour earlier than last year. Game results in the form of season standings are on the Standings page.
Club membership dues are $50 for the year (payable upon joining) and ice fees are $315 for the year (payable $157.50 per half season). Ice fees are paid by regular curlers, those assigned to teams and curling regularly, and cover our costs of renting the ice on which we curl. (Student member ice fees are half that amount, i.e., $157.50 for the full year.)
Those planning to curl, either as regular team members or occasional spares, are requested to sign up by completing this online form.
Also print, sign, and bring with you the first day you curl, please, the appropriate liability waiver — for adults or for minor children. We ask that you also complete an emergency notification form; curling injuries are not common, but ice is slippery and it’s important we know where/how to reach someone in case anything happens to you.
